  1. Anonymous Said,

It's decent enough... Sounds a little Britney-ish to an extent, and I've never been a Lil Wayne fan at all (Lollipop makes me cringe!). I like Celebration better, but with proper promotion and a good video, this song can probably be a greater hit.

  2. Anonymous Said,

Yeah I agree it was decent enough. When I listened to the preview I wasnt feeling it but as I heard it in full I was. I like how it was changed up to suit Madonnas style more. Yeah I agree with the above post Celebration is better and I love the Benassi version too. Well can't wait for the Celebration dvd and I am still waiting for the SnS tour to come out like what the fuck. There better be some good shit on there making me wait a whole fucking year like damn.

It was made by my friend and designer, Lukau13. You can find a link to his blog in the sidebar: http://mymadonnaart.blogspot.com/

  5. Anonymous Said,

omg--this song is way better than celebration. celebration was just so generic although i dig the remixed version (by benny) which made it more appealing to me...

...madonna's take on revolver is waaaaaaaaay better than that demo that leaked a few months ago. this updated version kicks major ass.

like one fan said above, with the right promotion and video, it could be a major hit for her.

i don't think celebration is doing well in the singles and pop charts ???? can someone shed some light.

  6. Anonymous Said,

To expand upon what I said on the first post, this is actually more than just "decent enough." It's pretty damn catchy haha! XD Seriously, it's grown on me quickly. :)

I still dislike Lil Wayne though. -_-;;; But his vocal contribution doesn't damage the song to the point of ruining it, so it's all good. ;-]

  7. Anonymous Said,

ooh it sounds really cool the best thing she released in awhile! :)

  8. Anonymous Said,

The best thing shes done in a while are you fucking kidding me. Hard candy every song on there is better than celebration and revolver.

  9. Anonymous Said,

This is actually a complete middle of the road song. It sounds exactly like Britney spears "raydar" very unoriginal, seriouisly madonna, sort it out!

  10. Anonymous Said,

    Yeah....I wanna die happy!!!!!

  11. Anonymous Said,

It's good- but to me this song will always be the demo that no one else wanted :(

  12. UrMadgesty Said,

I'm thinking this is not the final version just a leaked demo of Madonna's, the final cut should be better sounding and her vocals more up front!

  13. FemmeBoyInDress Said,

I want the Pop/Dance Madonna back so I could dance in Gay Bath houses, I can't dance to this Revolver Crap without getting pistol whipped by Thugged Out Homophobes. After this Revolver Travesty I have no other alternative then to throw out every Madonna CD I own and replace it with the New Dance Queen Lady GaGa instead!

  14. DancingQueen Said,

I'm a gay fan of Madonna's and this Song Revolver is a slap in the face to us gay fans who supported her during her whole career. We don't want Madonna Thugged out singing about Guns and no less to add Gangster rapper Lil Wayne in it. I've been very depressed over this and my family sent me to a therapist to help me to understand that it's out of my hands the choice and style Madonna's music will evolve to next and I was prescribed Paxil to help deal with this Revolting song Revolver!

  15. RavishingRabbit Said,

DancingQueen I feel your pain, I also love only dance songs that are played in Gay Clubs, I won't except anything else!

  16. Just 4 Said,

DancingQueen, she's always been straight and naughty. Just because she's confessed on her dancefloor a few years ago she's a gay queen forever. Long live Erotic M!

  17. CoffeeTeaOrMe Said,

Over here in my state as well it's being played and coming in at #3 as most requested, I guess this is going to be a smash hit whether I like it or not. :(

  18. Anonymous Said,

Revolver should of been the first single than that fruit cake song Celebration. I'm guessing Celebration will be the theme song for all the gay Networks and OutTV!

  19. Anonymous Said,

Hey guys... you better Listen! Probably most of yoy had not hear Celebration in any other place but you pc, Ipod, mp3 players....Play it in a real stero, mine is a pioneer, and let me tell you Celebration is a blast. A great song for the dancefloor. Unlike others I don't think it will die fast, It depends how Madonna will handle it the future. Revolver is fine, Lyrically it's suits Madonna, but the voice sounds so low. I will not pass my judgemnte till I'll listen to it properly, I guess they are a pair a fine songs, very inclusive for all tastes. For the time being, I prefer Celebration, especially the Benassi Dub, it's mesmerising!!!!1

  20. Anonymous Said,

    It´s so US ... sounds Billboard-ish, and uneuropean ...

  21. TinkerTenor Said,

    Ummm....ok.

So contrary to how it may seem from within the confines of a club (or a bath house wtf), rap music does not necessarily equate to being either a "thug" OR a homophobe.

And I disagree that you couldn't dance to this in a gay club. Gay men may have plenty of challenges to contend with today, but finding a way to dance to a Madonna record will never be one of them. I predict that the gay community will somehow get by, thank you very much. The song is hot - may not have trademark Oakenfold beats in it but that doesn't make it undanceable.

The great thing about Madonna is that she's got music in many different styles. This song certainly has a very different texture than "Celebration," and I fail to see how that is a bad thing. Madonna has had more than her share of Euro-sounding pop music in the last few years. I would love this to be a hit, and it could have a great video attached as well...

PS - the "thugged out" Madonna pic used for the artwork is from a *long* time ago so she didn't just "thug out" for this single.

  22. Anonymous Said,

this is horrible... madonna stop going after these tunes...

  23. Anonymous Said,

I think this song is awesome, really good!!!
