HC is awful. It´s the first album I do not like and it has nothing to do with racism.
I am looking forward to a quality album and not an I-prostitute-myself-for-the-stupid-US-market-album.

While I think you are correct on some points of M "Prostituting herself for the VERY stupid US market" I have to say that some of HC is good. Do I want her to repeat this record? NO.It's when she lets loose and gives in to nothing, that she does her best work. I think she is/was losing her musical vision. Trying to fit in was never Madonna to me. I hope she realizes this and quits caring about American chart success. It probably won't happen again. Most American's are fixated with youth and I don't see "pop" radio playing anything that she puts out. It's a shame, but true. Hope I'm wrong.

So far away... even I'm Breathless is Better than Hard Candy. But I wish most artists would have a good album as good as HC.
There has never been another artist with a broader market share. Madonna is famous in every damn country, she has millions adoring fans, plus no one ever has last this long in this business.
Madonna is talented, beautiful, smart business woman.
Artists make mistakes, but also give us the thrill of our lives. I would hate the world without Madonna, it would suck. She's a celebration of love, life and humanity! Amen

It's sad, to me music now seems solely focused on popularity and trends. Songs being judged by how 'catchy' they are and not actual substance. Lots of people in the music business need to watch Josie and the Pussycats and absorb its message.
