Madge pens anthem for earth

MADONNA will be releasing a new song she has written especially for the Live Earth gig.

Hey You is a collaboration with hip-hop legend PHARRELL WILLIAMS and Madge will perform it live at the July 7 Wembley Live Earth concert. She wants the song to hit the airwaves in advance of the event so the crowd know it and it will become an anthem on the big day.

Madonna is being lined up to round off the Wembley show.

There are also due to be sets from RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, JAMES BLUNT, the BEASTIE BOYS and heavy metal legends METALLICA.

Madonna has been working with Pharrell on tracks for her forthcoming album.

It is scheduled for release in November and will also feature songs she has written with the man with the midas touch, TIMBALAND.
