MADONNA’S son David waves to pals as she takes him and daughter.
Lourdes to his old orphanage — and announces she wants to look after ALL the kids there.
The Queen of Pop returned to the Home of Hope so the 18-month-old could see his biological dad in Mchinji, Malawi.
But she told the 1,500 children there: “I might take over the orphanage because the pastor here is getting old and about to retire. I love you and I have all your welfare at heart.
“I will do my very best to support you all and take care of you in the same way as David.”
She added: “If Malawians will work hand in hand with me, I will help Malawi.”
The star then asked the kids, who were dressed in the best uniforms, to sing — and they performed a hymn.
The home was set up in 1998 by the Rev Tompson Chipeta, a retired Presbyterian minister who was brought up as an orphan.
Madonna, 48, and David spent half an hour in a classroom with the tot’s dad Yohane, 32.
Orphanage worker Chimbutus, 19, said: “David grabbed his father’s hair and just laughed and laughed.
“Madonna told Yohane that she was proud to be a mother to his son and that Yohane was part of the family. There were tears in both their eyes.”
It had been rumoured that Madonna — who is visiting Malawi without her husband Guy Ritchie or son Rocco, six — wanted to bring home a girl from the orphange.
