Madonna has been comforting her celebrity pal Donatella Versace as her daughter fights for her life.
Allegra Versace, 20, who inherited half of the Versace fashion empire, is being fed through a tube at a clinic in Los Angeles after being so ravaged by anorexia her weight has dropped to four and a half stones.
The Sun quotes Donatella as saying, “My daughter is very ill. Anorexia is consuming her and we are very worried.”
And a source adds that Madonna has been incredibly supportive to her celebrity pal.
A source adds, “Doctors fear for her life. She risks heart failure any time. Her kidneys are in a mess and she’s being tube fed but it’s not working. Donatella is distraught but Madonna has been a tower of strength.”
