"Arthur and the Invisibles" made a splendid debut in UK cinemas opening last weekend and ranking at a flattering #3 position, with a total gross of £1,185,603 in 391 cinemas, a number close to this week's box office #1 ("Dreamgirls", grossing £1,329,81) and #2 ("Blood Diamond", grossing £1,186,009 in its second week run).
