More about the Sticky and Sweet Blu Ray editions

Posted by Sylar On Monday, March 22, 2010

With the commercial release of the Sticky & Sweet Tour being very close now, fans are still unsure if they will get a "live music cd" also in their Blu Ray edition of the concert, as listings on various online stores are inconsistent with each other.

The MadonnaTribe team has investigated a bit on the matter and we were finally confirmed that a music cd will also be available in the Blu Ray edition, but... in Europe only!.

America will get the cd with the dvd but will only get the Blu Ray disc in the Blu Ray package, while Europe will get a "live music cd" with both the DVD and Blu Ray editions of the Sticky & Sweet tour.

that's cool for us here in europe :-)
but americans - please relax, the difference between dvd and blue-ray is so little. just buy a dvd-player e.g ps3, that is able to upscale the dvd-format and you have a perfect hd-quality video! (

Did I not say a million times when it comes to the americans we get screwed. Not only are other nations getting the sticky and sweet tour sooner they also get to have a blu ray disc with cd. I see no reason why the cd should be left out for americans. Someone tell me why do I feel like I am in the fucking twilight zone right now. I say we protest and curse out people. Ive been wanting to ever since they delayed the tour dvd for so long and left out the 09 stuff.

I'm also disappointed that those of us who are willing to pay more for the "better" version of the tour are getting penalized for it. It would be one thing if it were all territories but to have it just affect the American release is really upsetting. I don't see why there isn't an iTunes code packaged with the blu-ray that let's you download the tracks that are available with the DVD version. It seems like a simple solution that would appease those of us who feel like we are getting the short end of the stick.
