VH1 is kicking off the new year with a brand new concert series. “Friday Night Alright” will host the latest concert specials form acts like Madonna, The Black Eyed Peas, U2, Lady Gaga, and more.
Presented in HD every Friday night beginning at 11pm, “Friday Night Alright” will kick off on January 1st with Pink’s “Funhouse Tour,” filmed live in Australia. The following week, the new hour will present “Best of ‘Austin City Limits’,” while Madonna’s special will air on January 22nd.

Thank you God!!!! I was waiting for this!!!! So funny...I actually emailed Guy Oseary requesting the Sticky & Sweet Tour to be aired on MTV, VH1 or a primetime network! I'm not saying they are airing it cause of that but it’s a very nice surprise and coincidence ;) So excited!!!
It was cool that it aired the premier night of EpixHD's launch, but not many people were able to view it because Epix was so new. This will be a GREAT opportunity to get a large TV audience in the US!!!! So smart of Madonna and her management to allow VH1 to air it!
Why do you ask "just in the US"? For the most part the rest of the world has received a TV broadcast, the US hasn’t yet until now.
What a great chance for the greater US to see this masterpiece of a tour! And BTW...the US still loves Madonna! It's not that her sales here have to show it...NO ONE sells records anymore! Exept Susan Boyle! Madonna is already the Top Selling & Top Touring Artist in the World! She doens't need to prove much anymore.
Anyway, this will be great for when the DVD comes out too!

Yes I hear March too. Did they move the air date for the Sticky & Sweet Tour??? I checked VHI.com under the Friday Night Alright page and it now says Feb 5! Hopefully this means more promotion for the concert!?
