Snoop Dogg wants Madonna

Posted by Sylar On Thursday, December 10, 2009

snoop-and-his-lbc-robe Snoop Dogg is holding out for a collaboration with either the Rolling Stones or Madonna - because he wants to experience what it's like not to be "the big one" on a track.
The rapper has worked with a host of stars as diverse as Willie Nelson and Justin Timberlake, but his sights are still aimed high for a really big duet.
He tells Nylon Guys magazine, "I wanna be on a track where I'm not the big one. I wanna do a Madonna or a Rolling Stones or a Quincy Jones - something where their name is bigger than mine.
"Something where it's like, 'Wow, I can't believe Snoop Dogg is on a track with Rascal Flatts!'"

    That would be pretty cool.
I've always liked Snoop Dogg, not his music but him as a person. He doesnt seem to take himself seriouly.

It would be interesting to hear his and Madonna's sounds mix.

    Fo-Shizzel!

  5. Surely Justin *is* a bigger name than he is? To me he is just a likeable persona - his appeal always seems a bit sarcastic or condescending, like Ozzy Osborne.

yeah just what Madonna needs...a repeat of the 2008 disaster

how was hard candy a disaster...aside from the fact that there were only 3 singles, 2 music videos (incl. give it 2 me's low production values) and hardly any promo performances among other things, no one can deny that Hard Candy was her weakest album...and I love everything she does no matter what but HC was the first release that I had to admit wasn't so good

since when was the hard candy era a disaster?? i believe it barely hit platinum here in the states. it produced substandard singles that went nowhere and was just downright dull. yep the S&S tour broke records however her tours do that regardless of the source material. people certainly weren't going to hear the hard candy music...they were going to hear the hits and see what the show would be like.

the hip hop CRAP has now been done by her and she can MOVE ON. no snoop, no timbaland, no mainstream sellout BS! the next album needs to be NEW and CUTTING EDGE like her albums used to be. not sellout disasters.

I enjoyed hard candy. It was really different but the lyrics were still good, the intentions and the meaning and thats what I look for in my Madonna songs. But I agree I dont want Madonna to do any more hip hop stuff especially not with snoop dog. My fav album is bedtime stories then erotica and american life so forth and so forth. I dont think Madonna needs anyone on her album to collaborate I would be very happy just hearing her and only her. But yeah I hope the next album is really good and she tries to give it her all and it comes out amazing. So I wish her good luck. Either way she will always be my fav and number 1 hands down.

HARD CANDY was hardly a disaster. Maybe it's not your thing, but it was quite popular with many fans. Quit crying for pete's sake. Let Madonna make the music SHE wants to make. She no longer has to prove herself. Let her have fun. Geez!
