20 years of Like a Prayer

Like_a_prayer On this day, 20 years ago, Madonna’s forth studio album has been released. It has sold more than 11 million copies and it got great reviews by the critics. Singles from that album were: Like a Prayer, Express Yourself, Cherish, Oh Father, Dear Jessie and Keep it Together.

    I was 15 when this album came out! God i'm old! It's amazing how Madonna just keeps evolving after all these years. Happy B-Day Sylar!

    The Like a Prayer era was an amazing era. Madonna at peak or her beauty, the Ritts photoshoots were something to remember. And Madonna really sounded like Madonna, no hio hip crap!

    Happy Be-lated Birthday, Sylar! This was really the album that turned me into one of her biggest fans! I wish she would perform "Cherish" -- I love that song!

    Don't forget that unusual duet with Prince on LOVE SONG, where she took the line 'Time Goes By So Slowly For Those Who Wait' for HUNG UP! In that same year, Prince wrote for SHEENA EASTON's successful comeback album THE LOVER IN ME, and we were wondering if MADONNA is going to release LOVE SONG to ride on the success of ARMS OF ORION. LIKE A PRAYER - what a classic!
