Madonna's upcoming greatest hits by Warner Records is finally taking shape Madonna has no plans of a new photoshoot for this ultimate collection and apparently there won't be any new song on the cd, but just remastered tracks.
Warner has also shown interest for Madonna's unreleased tours, in particular for Blond Ambition DVD as the Pioneer contract is ending very soon. Warner is working something out to have the tour released. Will it be the right time to please fans of the Blonde Ambition Era?

They should have had this worked out so we could get a package for Christmas. They knew she was leaving them a long time ago. Now she has to start 2009 still tied to Warner. I'd love to see a Blond Ambition release with the blond ponytail, but I bet the last show in Nice will be used instead. We need a DVD with the unreleased videos and performances too.
praying for "re-invention" as well, i prefer re-invention than blond ambition tho!!!
me,too!
RIT is her best tour IMO
Yes please. RE-INVENTION would be the best they can release!!!
Re-Invention, her best tour? Ever? I think not.
A Blond Ambition DVD would be the best gift she could give her fans! But I pray it's the concert that Alek Keshishian shot for Truth or Dare. It was filmed in Paris. That's the best concert footage I've ever seen.
I'd like a double pack with
Blonde Ambition & ReInvention.
Sort of a "look back/forward" to what she has come to and become.
They still need to do a proper comprehensive DVD set with ALL her video clips on it.
That'd be good
where's the RIT???
RIT is the best tour and i hope it will be released when the contract with mad/warner is over...
and i hope that warner released an dvd with all backdrops since 2001.^^
yes...a double dvd with RIT & BAT would be fantastic!!keeping fingers and toes crossed that it happens!!
Ok so my whole thing is if they are gonna release a Blond Ambition DVD why the fuck use the niece show? Alek Keshisian has all that amazing concert footage shot from Truth Or Dare and that footage should be pulled from the vaults and edited to make a DVD. Not that stupid Niece concert that has been floating around on laser disc and bootlegs for years now. Someone smack this woman across the face and wake her the fuck up! I'm sick of this bitch I swear to god she doesn't give a FUCK about what the fans want. So I went to a Janet Jackson fan site yesterday and they had an interview with her saying she was planning a DVD concert box set of all her tours including the unreleased Rhythm Nation Tour shot in Japan. She said it's "What her fans want." She also went on to say her fans also got to pick her set list for her latest tour. They all were asked to email in 6 songs and she would compile her song selection from that????!!!!! Really MADONNA GET WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!
Why do other artists choose to include new or unreleased material on their greatest hits package and she does not. It's her choice. Who wants to buy this when we already have all the songs? Give us an incentive to want to spend our money Madonna. Really in fact this is what I would like to see.
Madonna 25 Collector's Box Set
6 discs 3 dvds
Discs one and two will be an anthology of her hits from Madonna to Hard Candy all remastered.
Discs three to five will be all unreleased remixes of songs that span her career.
Disc six will be all unreleased tracks.
DVD: 3 Blu Ray discs of her career spanning music videos
Separate Concert Blu-Ray DVD Box-set that coincides with the above release
Virgin Tour
Who's That Girl
Girlie Show
Blond Ambition
Drowned World
Re-Invention
Sticky & Sweet
Add a nice book and wrap it all up in one nice big leather bound box. Charge $300 for the music set and $175 for the concert DVD set. I'll pay it and I'm sure a ton of people would. It would fly off the shelves and I could only imagine the pre orders for something like this. Warner & Madonna release this and call it a day and the fans get what they want.
OH MY GAWD!!! I am sooo glad that we Madonna fans agree to one thing: We ALL WANT RE-INVENTION TOUR DVD!!! Not the Secret documentary(not that I didnt enjoy that)...
Please! It will be a perfect present!!!
PJ
I hope for RIT!!! Great show!
I hope for RIT!!! Great show!
i want RIT as hell, and blu-ray format for all of them.
99% of people DON'T have a blu-ray player and don't care about it. standard dvd's played in an upconvert player on a hd tv provides a near hd picture and for the majority of the world that is more than good enough.
the concern is getting the dvd's. effe the blu-ray crap for now.
and sorry but 300$ for a cd set and 175$ for a dvd set is INSANE and will bomb horribly. people will NOT spend nearly 500$ to get a 25th anniversary cd/dvd set. that's UNREALISTIC.
a proper 25th anniversary with 2 or 3 cd's providing her greatest hits and unreleased tracks along with 2 dvd's of bat and rit will suffice and more than appease 99.9% of her fans.
let's be realistic here ok? 500$ and umpteen cd's/blu-rays ain't ever gonna happen.
I don't think Madonna will have much if any input into what Warner releases. It will basically be like what they released for Prince "Ultimate Prince" a couple of years ago, in fact, I wouldn't be that surprised if it's not called "Ultimate Madonna". As for the concert dvd's I doubt they will have any extras on them. I have just began to accept that to be a Madonna fan, you aren't going to get much, except from other Madonna fans.
"Someone smack this woman across the face and wake her the fuck up! I'm sick of this bitch I swear to god she doesn't give a FUCK about what the fans want."
What the HELL is wrong with you freaks? You call yourself Madonna "fans"? I have been a Madonna follower for 20 years and I am now ashamed to associate myself with you whining bitches. If you don't like her then F-Off and get a damn life. Jeez...She wont miss you!
to that crazy dude who ranted over what Janet's fans get from her:
Get a grip, Damita Ho is DONE, bitch's latest 3 albums have bombed hardcore across the world, she's desperate and would do anything to please the fans she has left...
I hope this is true. Blonde Ambition was the best tour by any artist ever, with RIT a close second. Please everyone write to Warner asking for the release before it's too late:
Warner Bros. Records Inc., 3300 Warner Blvd., Burbank, CA. 91505, ph: 818-846-9090
If they have an email address that would work too but I can't find one.
