She is not staying at L’Eden Roc hotel but she rented the Saint Jeannet Chateau, a castle from 21th century. She is in Nice since Sunday with the kids, but without Guy so far.
The tour manager declared to Varmatin that the Nice show is the first proper show of the tour, since stuff that wasn’t ready in Cardiff will be working properly tonight.
Apparently, Madonna paid a surprise patrol visit to the staff building the set yesterday to check everything up.
According to Varmatin, Bono, The Beckhams, Elton John and even Barak Obama are expected to attend the concert tonight. Let's wait and see if these rumours turn out to be true.

Um...Obama will be at tonight's Democratic National Convention in Denver. I doubt he will miss that to attend a Madonna concert. Whoever is reporting this needs to get their fax right.
