And here's our latest update on the Sticky & Sweet track list. We heard that the list of songs that we report below is basically the FINAL one and it includes video and live interludes. But before going into it, here are some exclusive tidbits on what we will be seeing and hearing during this great show!

The show features four main section. The show opener, Candy Shop, has now a longer intro compared to the promo tour version. A musical intro a la Drowned World Tour, with bits and pieces of song form Hard Candy that we will be hearing later in the show fades into the "C-A-N-D-Y" intro from the promo tour.

The clock ticking theme from 4 minutes can be heard several times during the show. In the show intro, in Vogue and in the "Get Stupid" interlude, which reminds of the Confessions Tour's Sorry Video interlude. In Get Stupid there are samples of Give It 2 Me, 4 Minutes and Beat Goes On and it's about our chance to save our planet from the various damages we created.

The use of music samples is very big on this tour. Many of the classic hits are musically re-arranged as mash-ups and the songs are sung on musical tracks heavely sample-ing other dance songs. Like A Prayer, for example, which, as previously reported by M-Tribe, has entered the set list is now replacing Impressive Instant and it's delivered using musical parts of the 1992 dance hit by Felix "Don't You Want Me".

Into The Groove, that contains a small sample of Madonna's Jump, is also delivered using musical parts of another dance song "Toop Toop" by Cassius, while Borderline is a great "rocky/ska" re-invention of the classic 1983 ballad.

The first video interlude, a fast and speeded up version of the James Bond theme Die Another Day, features exclusive new footage of Madonna as a boxeur, from the brand new photoshoot by Tom Munro for the Tour Book.

The second video interlude mashes up Madonna's Rain with the Eurythmics' Here Comes The Rain Again, using their original version and leading to Devil Wouldn't Recognize You. Originally supposed to play the piano herself on this song, Madonna will now be placed on the piano, reminessing a bit the Sooner Or Later performance from Blond Ambition.

  2. Anonymous Said,

    cool
    :O)
I love the set list !
    Jipieeeeeeeeeeeee !!!

  3. Anonymous Said,

It's clear now that she won't do an older song unless it was a huge hit. That's why Impressive Instant failed to make the cut. And I'll probably never hear her sing my other favorites again either.

  4. Anonymous Said,

i wonder will Human Nature still feature the gimme more sample and Britney video?..i hope it does

  5. Anonymous Said,

It is clear that there are still a few songs missing - or an entire section. This concert is somewhat short as is. Missing songs (unsure): Open Your Heart, Bad Girl, Who's That Girl.

Heartbeat is the show opener. From what I've been explained is that it starts with Madonna's own heartbeat to get the crowed going, then the song starts, like on the album, and then mixed with C+C Music Factory's remix of Seduction's song "Heartbeat".

Into the groove is not mixed with Jump - as it is mixed with a few lines and bass from Dance 2night. Jump's beats will be heard at the end of that number however, during a skipping rope skit... then goes into Borderline.

  6. Anonymous Said,

    Impressive instant ? :(

  7. Anonymous Said,

Well, this sounds OK! I really hope this show will be as good as the confessions tour....hopefully even better:D!!! Can't wait to go to Paris!!

  8. Anonymous Said,

ugh! i'll be honest...i'm not digging the setlist...what happened to some of her classic, classic hits that she has not performed in years. i hope she doesn't remix "borderline" to the point where it is unrecognizable like "lucky star" during confessions tour. i would have settled for "impressive instant," but performing songs like "music," "la isla bonita" and "ray of light" is just so repetitive...and these songs have been done like a million times!!!!! What about the song selection of this section: La Isla Bonita/Lela Pala Tute
Doli Doli (Live interlude - Romanian folk song) WTF???

    ??????

  9. Anonymous Said,

    The setlist is sexily awesome!
for some reason I was listening to Hear Comes The Rain Again the other day and now its indirectly part of the show!

    Weird!

They should get Annie Lennox on the video dancing about with an umbrella.

    Everyone can enjoy that.

    See everyone in New York

    XOXO

  10. Anonymous Said,

  12. unknown Said,

I love madonna but i find this List disapointing. Let's see: La isla Bonita, Like a Prayer, ray of light, and into the groove are all songs we have heard over and over do we really need to hear them again? why not: Impressive Instant, Who's That Girl, Oh Father, you'll see, Bedtime story, Dress you up, Material girl or one of the many great songs from Ray of light and Erotica. Impressive Instant would of bene a great mashup with Future Lovers. I'm evne over "Music" haha but im still Hung up! im sure i will sitll enjoy i mean i hope i do being that i spent $400 floor tickets.

  13. Anonymous Said,

Madonna would NEVER have a song from Seduction as a part of her show. Her lawyers filed a cease and desist letter with Michelle Visages' people in the early 90's because she felt Michelle was using her image, and since Michelle belonged to Seduction, that would never happen!

  14. Mihai Said,

Cmon, The Doli Doli song will be sung by Gogol Bordello so it must be an ucranian gipsy song. Not Romanian.

    Romani reffers to gipsies.
Romanian reffers to ppl from Romania.

    Get your facts right!
