Intro/Candy Shop
The show opener, Candy Shop, has now a longer intro compared to the promo tour version. A musical intro a la Drowned World Tour, sounding very cinematic, like the opening titles of a blockbuster movie, starting with the 4 minutes' "tick tock" with bits and pieces of songs from Hard Candy (4 Minutes, Give It 2 Me, Beat Goes On) that we will be hearing later in the show fades into the "C-A-N-D-Y" intro from the promo tour.

Beat Goes On
A standard album version of the song beginning after the Pharrel rap at the end of Candy Shop. Pharrel and Kanye West are doing their thing on video as well.

Human Nature
Britney will appear on video while Madonna sings the song on stage with her guitar. The idea of the Mash Up with Gimme More has been scrapped but Britney's new signature phrase "It's Britney Bitch" is included once at the end of the song.

Vogue
Played on a new instrumental track based on her 2008 hit 4 Minutes, this version of Vogue also includes a music sample of Nelly Furtado/Timbaland's Give It To Me during the whole song. An amazing re-invention!

Video Interlude - Die Another Day
The first video interlude, a fast paced and speeded up version of the James Bond theme Die Another Day, features exclusive new footage of Madonna as a boxer, from the brand new photoshoot by Tom Munro for the Tour Book.

Into The Groove
Into The Groove, that contains a small sample of Madonna's Jump, sees Madonna jumping rope and doing a little bit of pole dancing. The song is delivered using musical parts of the dance hit "Toop Toop" by Cassius.

Heartbeat
A nice album version of this great new song by Madonna and Pharrel.

Borderline
The most vintage song in the show has been totally recreated and turned into a rocky/ska version. Great rock guitars for the most surprising re-invention!

She's Not Me
As almost all Hard Candy song this one too is presented in it's album version incarnation. At one time Madonna reportedly shouts the phrase "I Know I Can Do It Better" in a similar way she did with "Do you think I'm satisfied" in RIT's American Life.

Music
Known as the Fedde Le Grande mix, the Sticky & Sweet tour version of Music starts with a sample of Last Night A DeeJay Saved My Life by Indeep.

Video Interlude - Rain/Here Comes The Rain Again
The third video interludes mashes up bit's of Madonna's Rain with Eurythmics' Here Comes The Rain Again, using Eurythmics' music track.

Devil Wouldn't Recognize You
Originally supposed to play piano herself on this one, now Madonna appears on stage on top of it. The song is the album version.

Spanish Lesson
Album version here too but nicely extended near the end, with the use of Spanish tap dancing and a little hint to Mariachi music thrown in there as well.

Miles Away
The great ballad version with guitar we already saw at the promo tour.

La Isla Bonita/Lela Pala Tute
The Live Earth version of La Isla Bonita is being presented on the new tour. Mixed with Romani song Lele Pala Tute and some great fun on stage. Gogol Bordello will make some special appearances on some of the tour dates.

Doli Doli
It's a live interlude not sung by Madonna and it's a Romani/Gyspyy folk song

You Must Love Me
Madonna is back on stage to close the section with a fierce rendition of the Accademy Award winning song "You Must Love Me" by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber. Tzigani/Gypsy violins and accordeon make of this song an unforgettable and emotional moment of the show.

Video Interlude - Get Stupid
Third interlude a la "Sorry" in "Confession Tour". It's about saving our planet and saving it NOW. It uses parts of various songs from Hard Candy. A vocoded "Who Is The Master and Who Is The Slave" (From Voices), "Get Stupid" (From Give It 2 Me), "The Time Is Now" and "You don't have the luxury of time" (from Beat Goes On) and the "Tick Tock" from "4 Minutes".

4 Minutes
A great version very similar to the promo tour.

Like A Prayer
The song, that replaces Impressive Instant is another Mash Up, delivered using musical parts of the 1992 dance hit by Felix "Don't You Want Me".

Ray Of Light
Very similar to the Confessions Tour version with Madonna playing her rock guitar!

Hung Up
The Rock Version you heard at the promo tour has been confirmed for this tour as well.

Give It 2 Me
Performed on a music track slightly different from the album version, but it's not one of the remixes. It has an extended ending on which fans are invited to shout: Give It 2 Me!

Thanks to MadonnaTribe!

Really sucks!! We're sick n' tired of Ray of Light, Music, La Isla Bonita and that stoopid rock version of Hung UP.

Sticky & Sweet should have been about her new songs mixed in with old classics... Open Your Heart, True Blue, Where's the Party, Who's That Girl, Nothing Really Matters, Gambler, I'll Remember, Physical Attraction, Everybody, Cherish, Love Profusion...

She should have done Get Together rather than Hung Up...

Sticky & Sweet is turning into the Sweet & Sour tour!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Anonymous Said,

ew i dont want human nature on the guitar!! i was hoping for that to be the "Wow" performance but i guess not :(

  3. Anonymous Said,

i agree with all above!!!!!!!!!!! i'm not excited about ths tour...the song selection is so boring and she keeps recycling the same tunes over and over!!! WTF?!?!?!

  4. Anonymous Said,

I think the set list is great! Cannot wait for Spanish Lesson and She's Not Me.

  5. Anonymous Said,

I'M SO PISSED OFF NOW I'M SELLING MY TICKETS!!!

THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A 25TH ANNIVERSARY+HARD CANDY TOUR.

SHE NEEDS TO FIRE THAT DUMB JAMIE KING. HE THINKS HE'S SO GOOD - BUT HE'S TURNING OUT TO BE SUCH A SMART ASS. MADONNA NEEDS NEW DIRECTION ON STAGE OR SOMEONE WHO WILL BETTER AID WITH Better SONG SELECTION.

    WHERE IS:
    Incredible
    Physical Attraction
    Open Your Heart
Nothing Really Matters (will we ever see this one in a concert)???
    Power of Good-bye
TAKE A BOW (hello damn it when, where?)
    Causing a Commotion
    Angel
    Love Profusion
Songs from I'm Breathless: More, He's A Man, Back in Business
    Get Together
    Who's That Girl
    I Want You
    Rescue Me
    Bad Girl
    Bye Bye Baby
    Spanish Eyes
    Everybody

It would have been so cool if she would have kicked the show open with Holiday... and have the entire show about a dance & sing-a-long fest!!

...I'm only happy for new Vogue, Borderline, She's Not Me, Spanish Lesson. Guitar on Human Nature is a NO-NO!! We want Madonna signing AND dancing! Rock version of Hung up ppppppahleazzzze!! YUCK! It should have been a cool hip-hop version of it.

    Sorry I had to vent!

  6. Anonymous Said,

This tour seems uninspired, rehashed, boring. Human Nature on guitar??? A hip-hip Vogue? A ska Borderline? And please, why rehash the rock version of Hung Up? That version was a MESS last time played. I'm sorry, but if I'm spending $400, put some creativity into it, and think of the fans. Madonna has to many yes people and she's getting lazy. Sorry, had to say it.

  7. Anonymous Said,

Uh we are so over Jamie King! He thinks he is so hot. There are other talented individuals out there.

His show for Celine Dion Taking Chances tour was crap too. He needs to rethink his approach. He is not avant-garde anymore.

Madonna really needs to hire a new tour director. Someone with more artistic vision.

I'm excited about the Keith Haring/Art Deco section and I like the You Must Love Me sung with an Accordion, and I bet that was NOT Jamie King's ideal.

I don't like Jamie Kings attitude anymore. He really does think he's all that important. There are better dancers out there.

    !!!

  8. Anonymous Said,

    Oh. My. GOD.

Imagine if "Holiday" would have opened the show like said in the other comment.

That would have been the bomb.

Open the show with a straight-forward classic album version of "Holiday" with an extended dance intro like on "You Can Dance". That is brillz!!!!!!!!!!!

It would have been so good.

I have chillz just thinking about it.

    Holiday! Celebrate!

  9. Anonymous Said,

I am so dissapointed. I am going to see her in 5 eurpoean cities and 4 in the states. I am not looking forward at all to it.

What is she thinking? She really needs to take a step back and think as to what does the fans want to hear.......We dont want to hear ray of light, la isla or a romanian folk song. Come on.........That u must love me? What the hell....... Here is what the set list should be:

Intro - History of all the tours to date

    Whers the Party
    Candy shop
    Beat goes on
    Spotlight

Video - Nothing Really matters / mixed with dance remixes

    Hung Up
    Deeper and Deeper
    Heartbeat
    Everybody

Video - Something to do with Evita

    Devil
    Whos that Girl
    Dress u up
    Spannish
    Incredible

Video - Shes not me - with different MADONNA iMAGES.....

    4 Minutes
    Give it to me
    Holiday
    Borderline
    Into the Groove

    Encore - Open Your Heart

Madge - read this and listen qucikly.........Come on

  10. Anonymous Said,

I agree with some of the set lists proposed her. The opening of Holiday would have been fantastic. Or open with Candy Shop and then go straight into Holiday. But it's the same stuff... more black leather, more guitar, yawn. I like Madonna and i like Hard Candy, but she seems so uninspired and disinterested. Which is rare for her. With Confessions, she seemed energetic and engaged. S&S really is becoming stick and sour like the above poster said.

  11. Anonymous Said,

Wait, what the HELL? Some of these are amazing, but Human Nature on /guitar/? But Britney is known to be going mad on the screen in the bg...it'll be so unsuitable. I wanted Madge to be running around like a lunatic, but guitar...?

  12. Anonymous Said,

Would someone please tell Madonna or someone in her camp that we fans are disappointed with the overall setlist?

I'm a huge fan, but I really think this show will be a snoozefest! I want to hear the classic tunes that she has not performed in such a long time: "Angel," "Dress You Up," "Everybody," "Justify My Love," etc! I am happy that "Vogue" and "Borderline" are included, but that is really it. "Music" and "La Isla Bonita" have been played to death and so is "Ray of Light." Hard Candy tunes are cool though.

    I was expecting more!!!!

Get rid of JAMIE KING!!! She needed to recruit new blood for the direction of the show. She is repeating herself, which in my book, I would never say about Madonna!

  13. Anonymous Said,

the costumes are so similar to past concerts...why the color black so much??? "candy" is supposed to be colorful and bright!

the opening of the show has been done! i'm really disappointed!!!

  14. Anonymous Said,

AMEN, JAMIE KING, NEEDS TO BE BOOTED!!! MAYBE HIRE STEVEN KLEIN AS A TOUR DIRECTOR EVEN THOUGH HE IS A PHOTOGRAPHER! THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN INTERESTING!!!

  15. Anonymous Said,

I think it's interesting that there has only been one or two positive comments about the show re: this update. I think that says a lot. I know we haven't seen the show, yet I feel like I have already seen it, especially if most of it is recycled promo tour/Live 8Confessions performances. I wanted to give Madonna the benefit of the doubt, but I feel like this is a contract-filler. And if her recent videos and lack of promotion are any indication, S&S looks to be another dull affair. Disappointed.

  16. Anonymous Said,

MADONNA .... WHAT ARE YOU THINKING !!!

AT CHRIS AS DIRECTOR DIDNT REPEAT HIS WORK
LIKE JAMIE KING HAS BEEN DOING IT ...

COME ON !! ANOTHER DIRECTOR FOR THE NEXT IF IS GONNA BE ANOTHER TOUR

  17. Anonymous Said,

    U guys are really unfair.
You havent seen 1 minute of the tour and you
    scream that its BS!
FGS , wait and she isnt going on tour
    for you.
Millions of fans are out there.
She cant mnake every single person happy.
Why are you going to the tour?
If you dont like it stay at home.

When the show is over and it wasnt good i can scream it was boring.
But not weeks before the tour starts!
Sorry but this is kindergarten !
    Chris

  18. Anonymous Said,

    You're right!

Holiday is the only thing missing from this tour.

If the show would have opened with Holiday or if Holiday were the second song. It would have been the perfect set-list.

I don't think Madonna will let us fans down with this new show, but its true - Jamie King has to go. Hopefully, this will be his last round.

Keep in mind Madonna has got to leave some tracks/ideas for new shows in the near future with Live Nation.

So hopefully songs like Nothing Really Matters, Take A Bow & Physical Attraction will see the light of day, someday.

    Rory

  19. Anonymous Said,

None of this is Jamie King's fault. Madonna does what she wants to do, and he obeys her commands. She won't do a variety of fan favorites, the costumes are uninspired... On and on. I bet the usual crop of fans who brag because they're seeing her on 3 continents are sorry now. You spent $400 per ticket for an uninspired show.

  20. Anonymous Said,

    hy guys.
i have to say this set-list is boring.
i don't like songs like she's not me and spanish lesson.
ray of light? oh my god
is the first time she sings it?
idon't like rock versions: rock is not good for Madge: she's not a rock singer.
    what does she re-invent?
she does always same things: la isla version was just performed last year; hung up rock and ray of light were just performed.
we have to say her last cd is boring.
she'd play songs like i'll remember, this used to be my playground, who's that girl, justfy my love, rescue me.
she will not sing live for the most of the show.
you must love will be live?
    i don't think so.
    we have to wait...
    hugs

  21. Anonymous Said,

Spanish Lessons is the worst song she ever made in her life. I wanted her to perform Dance Tonight instead of that.
Anyway I am glad I only paid 69 euros to see her sing "live" in Rome.
She needs to do a new album better than this low level Hard Candy.
Kisses to all gay fans. :)

  22. Anonymous Said,

I don't really like the tracklist
1st WHY HUMAN NATURE WITH THE GUITAR??? She should dance to this HOT track
2nd Why Music, La isla bonita and Ray of light again??? she should perform other songs, like Bad Girl, Keep It Together and Everybody

    but...
I'M EXCITED ABOUT BORDERLINE, VOGUE, YOU MUST LOVE ME AND HUMAN NATURE VIDEO (with Britney)

  23. All she needs to add to this tour is; Open Your Heart, Don't Tell Me and X-static Process to make this the best show the “exhaulted one” has put on.

  24. Anonymous Said,

Oh Crap.. please tell me ur kidding me!!

The set list was cool but now HN with guitar?? Booooring
Rocky Hung Up?? Sucks so bad
RoL and LIB again?? Come on!!

And like someone said, C-A-N-D-Y intro, Fedde Le Grand's Music... Didn't we already fckin saw that?

(PS.. Yeah the custumes are black but theyre cute.. some more color and inspiration would have been great though)

  25. Anonymous Said,

well...you guys pissed of the tracks?
you all can stay at home...
nobody invites you to visit the tour or a show...
