New Kids eye Madonna collaboration?

Recently reformed eighties boy band New Kids on the Block have hinted that they may be collaborating with pop superstar Madonna on their comeback record.

The boys enjoyed hits in the late eighties with hits including Hangin' Tough and You Got It (The Right Stuff).

They are currently working with superproducer Timbaland on their new record and are hoping that the star, who made the hit 4 Minutes with Madonna, will be able to pull a few strings.

Singer Joey McIntyre (35) told The Mirror: "It's so exciting. We loved what Timbaland did with Madonna's 4 Minutes and we can't wait to see what he has in store for us."

His bandmate Jordan Knight added: "I know he's putting in a good word for us to have Madonna on the album. It's looking good. Fingers crossed."

The band also revealed this week that they are collaborating with Michael Jackson on the new album, which is due for release in September.

That would be fucking sad. NKOTB are washed up has beens, so I doubt Madonna would associate herself with that mess.
