Madonna's latest single may be growing slowly on US Radio but the track has exploded in clubs all across America. Give It 2 Me has just become Madonna's 39th #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Club Play Chart.

MADONNA: For years, she has been the frontrunner on Hot Dance Club Play when it comes to amassing the greatest number of chart-topping songs, so scoring the 39th No. 1 of her career simply extends Madonna's lead on this tally.
"Give It 2 Me" (Warner Bros.) is the second single from "Hard Candy" to go to No. 1 on the club play survey, following "4 Minutes" in May. "Give It 2 Me" is also the sixth consecutive No. 1 for Madonna on this list, her second-longest string of chart-toppers. Twice, Madonna has strung seven No. 1s together, first from October 1987-January 1991 with "Causing a Commotion," "You Can Dance" (LP Cuts), "Like a Prayer," "Express Yourself," "Keep It Together," "Vogue" and "Justify My Love." Madonna had another run of seven chart-toppers from March 1999 to November 2001, a string that included "Nothing Really Matters," "Beautiful Stranger," "American Pie," "Music," "Don't Tell Me," "What It Feels Like for a Girl" and "Impressive Instant."
One more No. 1 from "Hard Candy" and Madonna will have her third run of seven No. 1s. The first six are:
"Hung Up," four weeks (2005)
"Sorry," two weeks (2006)
"Get Together," one week (2006)
"Jump," two weeks (2006)
"4 Minutes," two weeks (2008)
"Give It 2 Me," (one week to date) (2008)

congrats to give it 2 me, but only now it can go up on the hot 100 (which i doubt)
Well, it looks amazing, but the truth is that this Chart means nothing in US, unfortunately :(
