Darren Hays (singer of Savage Garden) has posted this on his myspace (Now 8th):
"I visited my friend Spike in the studio today..
He's been working on the new M album and I hadn't seen him for 2 years.
He's another Englishman I adore. He and Willie Williams are mentors to me.
What is it about the English? They seem to dot my path like paper lanterns."
For those, who don't know, who Mark "Spike" Stent is:
Mark is without question one of the world's most respected and sought-after mixer / producers.
Having trained at Jacob's Studios as a teenager, Spike gained further experience at Trident before kick-starting his career mixing the ground-breaking, influential records of the KLF.

While he is a regular collaborator of high-calibre artists such as Bjork and Madonna, Mark also makes a point of pushing the boundaries with exciting new talent such as Regency Buck and Playgroup.
Mark mixed Linkin Park's Billboard Chart #2 album "Reanimation,", worked on the new album from Wheatus, and hit the charts with additional production and mixes on No Doubt's new LP "Rock Steady" including the single "Hey Baby".
