Guy Ritchie's dad says he was worried about how little time his son has seen Madonna recently - as they have been living on separate sides of the Atlantic.
But Major John Ritchie is now pleased because Guy recently told him he is planning to move out to New York to be with her, where she is editing a documentary about the AIDS victims and orphans of Malawi.
At tot David Banda's second birthday bash last weekend, John told a friend: "It's the first time Guy has seen her in a while.
Madonna, Lola, Rocco and David have been out in the States and Guy has been in London."
