Simpsons creator Matt Groening is apparently desperate to produce a Springfield version of pop icon Madonna.
Previous names who have turned yellow include Michael Jackson, Sting, Tom Jones, Glenn Close, Sir Paul McCartney and Mel Gibson - and now the creators are eyeing up the Material Girl singer for a cameo.
Matt, 53, told Loaded magazine: "We would love her to do the show. She's one of the people we haven't been able to get yet."
He also added that the show is set to continue - "for another few years at least".
He said: "If we have gone this far, there is no reason to stop. Our goal is to keep surprising people."
