MADONNA is set to star in the big finale of the RICKY GERVAIS show Extras.

He is writing a special last episode to end the hit comedy — just like he did with The Office. And a deal with the BBC and US network HBO to make her Madgesty the show’s main star is nearly complete.

Madonna and Ricky are in constant email contact discussing her role. He is keen for her to be his character Andy Millman’s nemesis.
Andy rose from an extra to getting his own TV series and becoming a celebrity — but a run-in with the Queen Of Showbiz Madonna could bring him down.

The couple have been trying to work together since they met at Live8 in 2005 but tour commitments prevented Madonna appearing in the last Extras series.

DAVID BOWIE, ROBERT DE NIRO and CHRIS MARTIN are among the stars Ricky has lured on the show.
